Two quick updates:
1. It's official and final!! The 15 day waiting period is up, so the adoption is a done deal (on paper, at least).
2. The dates are set - I will be returning to Kazakhstan June 21 to pick up Lera, and we should be home on Friday night, June 26. It will be a quick trip. Hmmm, maybe if I go there and back that fast, my body won't realize it should get jet-lagged!? We are excited for Lera, Aidan and Kristin to finally meet!
In the meantime, our "virtual" friends Jessica & Chris Crutchfield are in Karaganda now, adopting adorable twins from Lera's room. Jessica has been kind enough to send us photos of Lera over the past two weeks. It is great to see her happy and having fun. Here they are:
